On April 20, 2009, our lives were traumatically changed forever when our precious baby girl, Chloe Louise, was delivered stillborn just 10 days short of her due date. The devastation, sadness, shock, pain and hurt that we have experienced since that day have been beyond words, description or measure. Our saving grace was the collective outpouring of love, kindness, support, prayer and friendship that we received from all of you.
To ensure that her life makes a lasting impact, we have established Chloe’s Wish Fund, a scholarship associated with the Trey Whitfield School in East New York, Brooklyn. The school is situated in one of the city’s most challenged areas yet is a consistent top performer in the state. The founders opened the school to honor the tragic loss of their son, Trey, and encouraged us to also turn our tragedy into triumph. This fund will provide a deserving female student with financial assistance on an annual basis.
